a): Our former Street Children.
This Sponsorship program under the Missions Office helps the Salesians of Don
Bosco to find Sponsorship for the street Children who are under our care at
Bosco Boys. It creates a better and closer relationship between a sponsor and
the beneficiary. The sponsor is involved and allowed to participate by meeting
the child, paying the school fees and following up on the performance. Below is
our Sponsorship program.
Primary Level
Children ‐ young people from 6 to 14 years old
Duration ‐ 8 years
Expenses ‐ Ksh. 60,000 (Euro 600) per year.
High school level
Boys(girls) from 14 to 20 years
Duration ‐ 4 years
Expenses ‐ Ksh. 70,000 (Euro 600) per year.
Professional level
Boys(girls) from 14 to 21 years old
Duration ‐ 2‐3 years
Expenses ‐ Ksh. 60,000 (Euro 500) per year.

Questo programma di Adozioni a distanza dell'Ufficio Don Bosco Missions
ci permette di trovare chi si prende cura, anche a distanza, dei bambini di
strada che sono affidati alle nostre cure al Bosco Boys. Si crea così una
relazione migliore e più stretta tra uno sponsor e il beneficiario. Lo
sponsor è coinvolto nel partecipare alle spese della scuola e nel ricevere
notizie sul progresso scolastico dell’adottato.

There are several possibilities to help the children/young people of our DON BOSCO
MISSIONS . There are many young people who cannot attend elementary, middle,
high and professional schools because they are poor orphans. With your help, we can
offer them a better future.
Ci sono diverse possibilità per aiutare i bambini/ragazzi delle nostre
MISSIONI DON BOSCO. Sono tanti i giovani che non possono frequentare
le scuole elementari, medie, superiori e professionali perché orfani e
poveri. Con il tuo aiuto, possiamo offrire loro un futuro migliore.
b) Sponsorship for Priesthood.
The Salesians of Don Bosco are men and women who are called to serve God in the
hearts of the many young poor people of the world. They take vows to support and take
care of the needy and the poorest, especially the street children of the world. These
spiritual men and women undergo intensive professional training based on Christian
values to enable them to serve well. The purpose is to help bring up a God-fearing
generation and a world where all would live peacefully, a decent life, with great love
and care for one another and thereafter to eternity.
We appeal to well‐wishers to support our young men who want to serve God and become Priests, following the footsteps of Don Bosco. Without good and well-prepared Salesians we cannot
do any good to the poor young people.
b) Aspiranti alla vita salesiana ed al SacerdozioI
Salesiani di Don Bosco sono uomini e donne chiamati a servire Dio con il
cuore di Don Bosco, servendo tanti giovani poveri del mondo. Si prendono
cura dei bisognosi e dei più poveri, in particolare dei bambini di strada e
dei giovani delle classi lavoratrici in ben 134 nazioni del mondo. Questi
uomini e donne seguono un'intensa formazione professionale e spirituale
basata sui valori cristiani che consenta loro di servire bene. Lo scopo è
aiutare a far crescere una generazione che sa di essere aiutata da Dio a
creare un mondo di pace, in cui ci prendiamo cura gli uni degli altri. Don
Bosco dirà di voler aiutare i giovani ad essere onesti cittadini e buoni
cristiani.
Facciamo appello ai benefattori affinché sostengano i nostri giovani
che vogliono servire Dio ed i giovani seguendo le orme di Don Bosco,
perché senza Salesiani bravi e preparati non possiamo fare del bene ai
giovani.
